Customer reviews are among the strongest trust signals a website has. The Google Reviews Importer pulls a company's Google reviews into WordPress automatically and keeps them current there, ready to be displayed on your own website.
What the plugin does
- Fetches reviews through the Google Maps Reviews API from SerpApi.
- Stores every review as a post in its own "Google Reviews" post type, including star rating, date, name, link to the profile picture and the company's reply.
- Reads every page of the API response, so all available reviews are imported.
- Prevents duplicate entries using Google's unique review ID.
- Supports multiple Google Place IDs, for example for companies with several locations.
- Updates reviews automatically via WordPress cron (hourly, daily and further intervals) or instantly at the push of a button.
- Logs errors during API requests and imports.
Display on the website
The plugin stores the reviews in WordPress. They are displayed with a page builder that supports dynamic data, for example Bricks Builder or Elementor, or through a custom template.
