Google Reviews Importer

WordPress plugin that imports Google reviews via SerpApi, stores them as a custom post type and updates them automatically on a schedule.

  • Multiple locations (Place IDs)
  • No duplicate reviews
  • Automatic import on a schedule
  • Works with Bricks and Elementor

Customer reviews are among the strongest trust signals a website has. The Google Reviews Importer pulls a company's Google reviews into WordPress automatically and keeps them current there, ready to be displayed on your own website.

What the plugin does

  • Fetches reviews through the Google Maps Reviews API from SerpApi.
  • Stores every review as a post in its own "Google Reviews" post type, including star rating, date, name, link to the profile picture and the company's reply.
  • Reads every page of the API response, so all available reviews are imported.
  • Prevents duplicate entries using Google's unique review ID.
  • Supports multiple Google Place IDs, for example for companies with several locations.
  • Updates reviews automatically via WordPress cron (hourly, daily and further intervals) or instantly at the push of a button.
  • Logs errors during API requests and imports.

Display on the website

The plugin stores the reviews in WordPress. They are displayed with a page builder that supports dynamic data, for example Bricks Builder or Elementor, or through a custom template.

Requirements

  • WordPress version 5.0 or newer
  • An API key from SerpApi
  • The company's Google Place ID

  • 1.1.1 (27 April 2026): masking of the API key, self-healing cron schedule, deletion of plugin data in batches on uninstall.
