2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website, our content and our services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting and delivery of the website
This website is built with Webstudio and delivered via the infrastructure of Webstudio and Cloudflare. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data transmitted by your browser is processed, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referrer URL, the browser type and the operating system. This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing may take place in countries outside the EU, in particular the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
The connection to this website is encrypted using TLS.
4. Storage in your browser
If you switch between the light and dark theme, we store this setting in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key “website-theme”). This information never leaves your device and serves solely to keep the appearance you have chosen. Storing it is strictly necessary for this function you have requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or other font providers.
6. Contact form and email
If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (for example name, email address, telephone number, company and message) in order to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for processing your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Google reviews
On our home page we display reviews that clients have left on Google. The reviews, including the profile images, are retrieved server-side and delivered from our own server. No connection to Google is established when you visit our website, and none of your data is transmitted to Google.
8. External links
Our website contains links to third-party websites, for example to our clients' projects. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for its own data processing.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
