The shop should let customers buy a high-quality product that needs explaining simply and without detours – from medical practices to hotel chains. Design, well-structured information and a device finder should lead quickly to the right model, increase the conversion rate and reduce the need for consultation. The relaunch added new goals: short loading times, no more plugin maintenance, a checkout without customer account or password, legally sound processes under current consumer law – all without losing the visibility in Google built up over the years.

The products need a lot of explanation: 20 devices in five series for rooms from 10 to 100 m², with or without a fan, plus 16 matching replacement lamps. This complexity has to be presented so that the decision is easy and the right lamp is found for every device. Webstudio is an excellent tool for fast, well-designed websites – but it has no shopping cart, no payment processing and no invoicing. At the same time, six years of shop history had to be migrated: orders, invoices, product images, knowledge articles and more than a hundred old URLs including the Google Shopping feed. And the shop was meant to do more than before: order lookup without a password, a withdrawal button under the new EU rules, automatic invoices and refunds.

We redesigned the website in Webstudio and built a lean, custom shop backend on Cloudflare Workers. Webstudio renders every page on the server and pulls products, prices and delivery times live from the backend – changes in the shop admin appear on the website within seconds.
