Süd-West Prüfservice is an experienced provider of electrical testing in the Zollernalb district. Its team of qualified electricians tests installations, equipment, medical devices and EV charging stations to the standards of the legally required DGUV Regulation 3. Alongside the relaunch of the website, we developed an innovative QR code platform for the client through which test reports can be called up digitally.

About the project
Professional testing service with a digital presence
Süd-West Prüfservice is a service company for electrical testing (E-Check, DGUV V3) in the Zollernalb district. The company offers professional testing of electrical installations, equipment, medical devices and EV charging stations to the highest safety standards. In a first step the existing website was moved to Webstudio and its content was optimised.
The challenge
Digital test results by QR code
The client needed an innovative function: QR codes on test seals that, once scanned, show the test results of the tested device directly on the website. The solution had to work without a login while still being secure – achieved through 64-character URLs that cannot be guessed.

Relaunch with Webstudio and Payload CMS
To implement the QR code function, the website was migrated to a more modern technology base: Webstudio as the front-end builder and Payload as a serverless, headless CMS. An import interface allows device test data to be uploaded by CSV. After scanning a QR code on the test seal, the user is taken to an individual page showing the test results.
The result
Transparency and trust through digital test reports
Customers of Süd-West Prüfservice can now see the test results for their devices immediately by scanning with a smartphone. That creates transparency and trust. The combination of Webstudio and Payload makes it easy to maintain the content and to upload new test data efficiently.
