Questions about a website redesign
Will I lose my Google rankings with a redesign?
Not if the redesign is planned properly. We redirect every old address to the matching new page with a 301 and check Google Search Console after go-live. Faster loading times have an additional positive effect.
Can I take my content with me from WordPress?
Yes. Copy, images, posts and case studies are carried over and revised along the way. With a lot of content, we import it automatically.
Why Webstudio instead of WordPress?
Webstudio delivers lean pages without plugins via Cloudflare's global network. Data from integrations is loaded server-side and cached. That makes websites fast, secure and low-maintenance.
What about features I use plugins for today?
We build them natively in Webstudio or as a dedicated Cloudflare Worker, for example cookie consent, a shop backend or the onOffice integration. The code belongs to you and cannot be sold to third parties.
Can several people maintain content?
Yes. You make simple changes directly in Webstudio. For editorial teams with many authors, we combine Webstudio with a headless CMS such as Directus, with roles, approvals and drafts.
What does support cost after the redesign?
With our Satisfaction Package from €20 per month, we take care of hosting, security and small changes. Plugin licences and plugin updates are a thing of the past.
